Class Description
This course of 32 hours introduces students to the fundamentals of electrocardiography, including basic cardiac anatomy, electrode placement, EKG equipment operation, and recognition of common heart rhythms. Students gain hands-on experience performing EKGs while learning proper patient care, safety, and documentation practices. Upon finishing the course, students will receive a certificate of completion.
Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years or older
- Applicants must have a High School Diploma
- Medical experience recommended
